"Woutertje Wop en andere verhalen" (Translation: Woutertje Wop and other stories), is a bundle of short fairy tales for young children written by 'Henk Witjes'.
He asked me to provide his stories with drawings to visualise some of the characters and worlds.
This project is still ongoing, at first i made all the drawings traditionally. Using a mix of pen, ink and watercolours and scan them for in the book. This did give a certain old children book feeling, but as time went on i started improving more and more digitally and decided to remake all the drawings digitally, using the traditional paintings as concept art.
