Deli Delight is a small game made by Ilse van Kraaij, Xuan Liu, Kunxi Wang en Michael Kuijpers using Ren’py. Their goal is to criticize the consumerism and show you the absurdity of it.
They asked me to compose a couple of tracks for their came that sounded "Supermarket-y". I can say i have been amazed how much super market music there is online.
With this newfound knowledge i went and composed 5 that were used as background music while the player plays and reads the script.
1 song feattured a lot of disturbance and dissonance, inspired by various songs of the game 'Doki Doki Literature Club'.
Deli Delight is a visual novel about a supermarket, in which you’re the new manager! During your work, you get to meet your employees: the shy Bonnie, the arrogant Liam en the sensual Mila. With the choices you make, you can get to know the characters and who knows, one might steal your heart! Help them to improve their lives, or destroy it. Nothing is what it seems in Deli Delight.
