In 2024 i played in a theatre play called "Wat Als?" (What if?), this was about fairy tales after their stories and how some wanted to break away from their lives and go on an adventure into the big "grown up" world.
As a group we try to make a lot of stuff ourselves. I got asked to work together with Mirthe Gladdines to create a poster design.
Mirthe's work is primarily traditional drawings and paintings, whereas my art mostly is digital. We ended up with a mix of both in a way that was fun to figure out and try out! We both sketched and made the designs for the characters. She made the base with watercolors and i went over them digitally with outlines and textures! You can see the end result down below:
