At Goodhabitz i started out working as a Video Editor. My tasks were mainly editing videos that contain greenscreen footage, some slight animations and edit translations of videos.
Through the years i developed more and more. More in as an artist, editor and animator and also as a professional. I started working as an animator/motion designer shortly after i started an worked closely together with the writers to make some amazing explainer animations. Over the years I did various audio editing, video editing, motion design and animation.
A highlight in my career at Goodhabitz were developing a new kind of animation format from scratch. I didn't do this alone ofcourse. Together with 2 amazing coworkers we worked closely together to develop a long animation format. I was mainly in charge of the concepting/design side of everything. But also made some of the artwork and animated some scenes that we divided amongst each other. We did 2 pilots and in both i worked on the concept design, sketches, storyboard, animation and some of the artwork.
I sadly can't show everything of that, but below there is a small animation reel of the animated work i made at Goodhabitz!
One of the most important values for me in my work is that my work is entertainable and enjoyable to watch.
Even if it is about something difficult or serious, i want to be able to convey the message with humor and/or storytelling.
Here you see an example of how one of my scenes looked as storyboard sketches and eventually in the scene:

The storyboards for both pilots were set up like this:

Before we worked on the pilots we made some style and animation tests.

At the start of my career at Goodhabitz i was mainly editing greenscreen videos with premade animations. It wasn't much rocket science, but it paved the way to other and bigger projects. Like a long educational video called the "Deep Dive". A project which required both video/greenscreen editing, storyboarding and motion design!
A small video reel of some of the video/greenscreen edit work i did.
As one of my last projects i also developed a new format together with the graphic design department. It challenged me to bring life into very simple drawings with for example animated textures and FX. Sadly this project never got realized while i was there, but these are some of the cool stuff i drew and animated myself as a test/proof of concept!
