In November 2019 The MusiCompany performed the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".
I was asked to both make and operate the background animations & visuals that would add more to the scenery and scenes on stage.
In total i made 7 illustrations and 7 animations all made within Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

As for style i looked a lot to 60's/70's commercial posters and fonts. The story of the musical also is set in the 60's. Simplicity was also key. I could go overboard and make a lot of detail into everything (and sometimes i couldn't help myself doing that), but the visuals needed to be lowkey and on the background thus making me choose for a very simplistic vector style.
The logo design for the fictional company "World Wide Wickets" was also printed upon the clothing and aprons of the actors.
