Since 2013 i am an amateur actor at the theatre group "Jeugdtheater Rotonde". Over the years i've played in various roles from a criminal that had an unhealthy obsession with cleaning to a princess in a pink dress.
When we played "De Gelogen Waarheid" (The Lying Truth), i got asked to make background music for the whole show! It was an amazing chance that lead to over 30 songs all custom made for the play.
In 2024 we played "Wat Als?" (What If?"), a play themed around fairy tales. Once again i got asked to provide the background music for it. De Gelogen Waarheid's music was all themed around detectives and noir, which was out of my comfort zone back then. But for this one i could lean into a lot of fantasy and folk vibes which i absolutely love!
